2009 Archambault A31 - cruiser racer - £52,500
Designed by Joubert Nivelt, the A31 is comfortable both inshore and offshore. The A31 is a scaled down version of the A35 and A40RC, both successful designs. Production began in 2009 and ran until 2015. The A31 features a vacuum infused Fiberglass hull and a sandwich core deck offering a lightweight yet robust structure. The use of vinylester resin and infusion technology enhances durability and performance. This example is in good condition with an extensive sail inventory. It benefits from the T bulb keel, retractable carbon bow sprit and is well set up and IRC optimised for both inshore and offshore racing.
She had an extensive refit in 2024 to take part in the SSE Round Ireland yacht Race where she came 2nd in class and 4th overall. The Archambault A31 is a sought after racing yacht meeting the strict category 2 race stability requirements for longer offshore races such as the Fastnet.
She has an endorsed IRC certificate of 0.985
